Bespoke luxury wine experiences around the globe & exclusive tasting and pouring events

September 2020 is California Wine Month

This gives us a great opportunity
to highlight some of the many
incredible wineries we’ve visited
over the years.

We look forward to visiting these
wineries again very soon.

Arns Winery is located in Napa Valley.

During a brief visit to the Napa Valley in the early 1970′s, Sandi Belcher was enthralled with the wine industry. She worked harvest while at Davis, to gain knowledge about wine and grape growing. She worked out of the country for a brief period of time to learn about what was going on in other grape growing regions. Returning home to the Napa Valley, she spent 27 years with a small white wine facility learning about white grapes. She tries to make the best she can out of the vineyard. She spends lots of time with the vines and that tells her about what’s going to happen at harvest. The grapes should taste like they did on the vines and capture that essence throughout the life of the wine.

In the early 1980′s she would team up with her partner, John Arns. John worked in South Australia with famed Peter Lehmann of the Barossa Valley who encouraged John to pursue his interest in winemaking and grape growing. As a professional vineyard consultant, he has combined his love of art with agriculture to sculpt vineyards into masterpieces accentuating quality in the vines.

In the 1990′s John extended this passion through his own grapes creating Arns Winery. Together with Sandi, the first release of their 100% Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon debuted in the Spring of 1992. The rest is history. Together they fulfilled their desire to make Arns Winery what it is today.
