Bespoke luxury wine experiences around the globe & exclusive tasting and pouring events

September 2020 is California Wine Month

This gives us a great opportunity
to highlight some of the many
incredible wineries we’ve visited
over the years.

We look forward to visiting these
wineries again very soon.

Located in Dry Creek Valley, we have been visiting Quivira Vineyards for over a decade. We went for the zinfandel, and stayed for the zinfandel and all the great Rhône varieties. Quivira creates wines with bold varietal character that demonstrate balance and finesse. They are organic, use solar power, and devoted resources to restore Wine Creek.

Quivira is located on the 110-acre estate that is bisected by the Wine Creek; this life-giving water source is the namesake of our home ranch, Wine Creek Ranch. The soil deposited over thousands of years on the valley floor is primarily gravelly and sandy loam – deep, well drained and fertile dirt that produces good crops of flavorful grapes. With 59 acres planted to vines, Quivira Vineyards’ strives to be a leading producer of Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc and Rhône varieties, built upon intentional winegrowing and a thoughtful commitment to organic and Biodynamic farming.

Quivira’s estate includes a lush organically farmed garden designed to educate visitors and promote biodiversity. The garden’s 100+ raised beds are planted to exceptional heritage cultivars of various produce. Quivira partners with highly-regarded restaurants and hosts farm-to-table dinners that feature fresh produce, estate products and wine all from the property.
