October 2020 is Virginia Wine Month

This gives us a great opportunity
to highlight some of the many
incredible wineries we’ve visited
over the years.

We look forward to visiting these
wineries again very soon.

We are featuring Pollak Vineyards. 

 A dream of Margo and David Pollak, is a boutique-sized winery on a 98-acre farm in Greenwood, Virginia, just west of Charlottesville. With the goal of making French-style wines from estate-grown grapes, the Pollaks have created a winery with superb wines and spectacular views. Visitors are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy with a glass of wine on the spacious veranda with views of the mountains, pond and vineyards. Varieties include chardonnay, viognier, pinot gris, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot.

Their tasting room and patio offer views of their first vines, the pond and the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains. It is a scenic setting to enjoy a glass of wine and some of the best of Central Virginia’s wine country.
